Last year, we suffered from a devastating earthquake that deeply saddened the whole nation. 

Besides, looking around other parts of the world, there were a number of natural calamities, incidents and accidents.

I think it had been a year of turbulence that shook the entire world.

In the Tohoku region, where Gamarjobat visited for consolation last April and August,  a lot of people told us that they could laugh at last for the first time since the disaster. 

It was a moment, through the contact with those victims, when we were reminded of how important laughter is even if it is only for a short period of time. 

At the same time, it was also a moment when we renewed our recognition on what we each can do as a staffer of Brains & hearts Inc. or a member of the Gamarjobat Project - it is just to keep on creating good entertainment productions.

In 2012, we have welcomed our new members, "to R mansion" into the project, with whose own pantomime-based performance, which is speedy, dynamic but somewhat heart-warming, they attract audiences. 

Their join is very delightful for us, stimulating for the Gamarjobat Project and extremely exciting for themselves. Artists with common interests and aspirations get together, compete to produce their own work and affect the world in some way - even if it is only a little laughter, I believe that it is still a good thing and we will continue to support it. 

We, staffers from Brains & Hearts Inc. and the artists working with us, will put our heads together to "do the entertainment" with enthusiasm in 2012 as well.

Gamarjobat Silent Comedy JAPAN TOUR 2011

Greetings for the new year.

It is the beginning of the year 2011. How are you planning
to spend New Year's Day? We'll have to get started soon
after having a little bit of the celebratory feeling of
the holiday because HIRO-PON's solo performance is taking
place in Shizuoka as early as the turn of the year and the
project's long-awaited performance at Sunshine Theatre is
starting on January 21. We'll probably have an audition
for new members in February. In spring, again, HIRO-PON's
solo is going to be held in Nagoya. Between those
hard-scheduled days, we'll fly around the world
performing. What's more, Silent Comedy Japan Tour 2011 is
set to start in September along with brand new repertoire!
You see, our schedule for 2011 is being arranged with so
much success that you can't stop smiling. Oh, by the way,
we are on TV for "Shoten" on New Year's and for "Ken
Shimura's Baka Tono" on the 6th! We've resolved on working
so hard to make 2011, the Year of the Rabbit, a
springboard for our further leap. We appreciate your
support and wish you a happy new year.

We are very happy to hear that many, many people have bought their advance-sale tickets for the GAMARJOBAT PJ’s memorable (!) debut performance. Thank you so much!

 

Seems like we gave you some misunderstanding that we would also perform “City Lights” with other guys … but the repertoire is going to be done just by the two of us as always. (gonna be revised into a new version, though…) Anyway, why don’t you come to see the reborn “City Lights”?

 

And let me tell you about the GAMARJOBAT PJ. We’ve tried a lot of new things all the time, but this one is the one that we’ve never tried before. We are so honored that you will share our first step into the unknown world with us!

 

Information for people who say “I haven’t gotten my ticket yet!”:

While the first half of the show mainly has the performers other than GAMARJOBAT on stage (collaborative acts with GMARJOBAT and GABEZ are also going to happen,) the last half has just only GAMARJOBAT (!), where our much-loved “City Lights” is restaged. The show is definitely quite a bargain, including newcomers, collaborative acts and everyone’s favorites!
